Rixi's textplus font factory (Paper Mario 64, Superstar Saga, SMB3 Ending World Title)

Based on Jackster's rip on The Spriter's Resource, I just adapted them to the textplus sheet and ini format.

Contains two variants: papermario-a


and papermario-b

By default the contents of this zip should go in YourEpisodeName/textplus/font, but you can put them wherever as long as you update the image paths inside the ini files accordingly.

Also you may want to change the outline color on b to the background color of your episode's message box or remove the outlines entirely; I didn't do that in the example image to show that it has outlines, but it is that way in the original PM64.

Went and did another one, gonna go ahead and reuse this thread for it.

Here's the intro/battle UI and dialogue fonts from the original GBA version of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga! These would've been based on MajinPiccolo's or Nuffe's rips on TSR and MFGG but neither sheet was reliably complete -- one was outright missing the letter Q and every digit besides 1, and a number of characters seemed to differ between the two sheets so one or both of them probably had some hand-pixeled letters instead of ripping them all -- so I ended up just texthacking the game to screenshot-rip the fonts myself.




I should really set up a demo level for the next one's screencaps instead of reusing this side project...

Oh, and something I forgot to mention with the Paper Mario fonts that applies to these as well: I chose to leave out special graphics like button icons, the exploding speech, etc. as textplus has support for inline images. So if you want to make use of those kinds of things you can just use the <image> and <emoji> tags as detailed here.

haha whoops guess what I didn't get around to doing!!!

At least it's not the same project this time, because this font was adapted specifically for use in Delightful Adventure: Enhanced. Drumroll, please...


Don't worry, this isn't going to be the main message box font in the game.

That's right, the world title font from SMB3's ending! Though some may know this one better as the SMBX battle mode font (minus Redigit's weird squished W) or That One Font That A Fair Number Of Episodes Use For Their Logos' Subtitles.

Four people to credit this time: this was a combined effort between Quine and me, taking everything we could from Squishy Rex's old sheet and Murphmario's rip on TSR and pixeling the rest of the characters ourselves.
