Finally! This looks very promising!
Unfortunately, I won't be able to use this yet since I can't use my computer ;n;

So I've been using this quite some time since the release, my current question is how do you avoid the sound you can add (Like the susie one you did for example) to overstack itself and earrape you?

Generally, you should just make it shorter, or use the "typewriterSoundDelay" option.

Absolutely wonderful to see expanded dialogue boxes for SMBX2. Thank you so much for making this!

there is a problem in this that I would love for it to be fixed. When I make an event, then write a textbox using the deltarune boxes and then mark the event to start automatically, when the textbox apears, my character dosen't stay still and I can still move it. And also when I put a deltarune textbox event on an npc, it is supposed to start automatically when you come close to the npc, but for some reason, it dosen't happen. This is especially annoying while in the making of my episode. So could you please solve it?

I cannot recreate such an issue. Sounds like you may have some other code interfering.

oh wait! I already know what's the problem, I actually had a warp transition luna.lua code with this, so I eliminated it, and now, the problem is solved. It's my first time using luna.lua files, so I'm not that good at this. Sorry:/

Normally, warpTransition shouldn't cause an issue with this. Were you opening the message box straight after a warp?

What happened was that the message box and the warp transition were supposed happened at the same time as soon as I oppened up the level

Ah, yeah, that'd cause an issue. You can fix that just by adding a 0.1 second delay to the box.

And how can I add the 0.1 delay to the box exactly?

I mean with the delay option on the "trigger event" inside of the usual events.

Minor update! Changelog:
- Added asterisks/line markers for the Deltarune style, along with the <brNoMarker> tag for them.
- Added "drSmall" box style.
- Improved automatic delay for the typewriter effect, now better accounting for brackets and quotation marks.
- Added <noAutoDelay> tag, which disables the automatic longer delays on the typewriter effect.
- Added hyper-specific "uncloseableByPlayer" and "updatesInPause" arguments for littleDialogue.create.
- Other various under-the-hood changes.
Docs will be updated shortly!
(Edit: there was a pretty major bug with the line markers, so if you downloaded v1.1 before, please update!)

For the life of me, no matter what I do, the message box stays blank.
Neither message nor portrait show up, just a blank box
Edit: Figured out it's only when I try to use mugshots.
Edit Edit: Solved it, it was just format error. Sorry to bother everybody.
