A day in the life of super mario (The Great Mushroom Kingdom)

Postby MegaDood » Wed Jul 24, 2024 9:19 am

So when SMBX 1.2 came out I made this as a 11 year old.
Then when 1.3 came out I went and added a bunch of 1.3 elements to all the levels.

The Rip Lair (the server that works on The Online GFX Pack) did a speedrun race to beat it, and we had a lot of fun.

I hope you enjoy this, it's a genuine passion project from my 11 year old self.

This is the magnum opus of SMBX episodes. Every detail, meticulously placed with much thought. The world map is just beautiful. You can see the passion that is put into each tile, each block, each bgo. And the bosses. Man, these are some Dark Souls tier bosses. They pose a very fun challenge while being fair to the player.
I am genuinely amazed by the level design. It's enough to make a grown man cry.
Good job, MegaDood. You've single handedly created the best piece of SMBX content to be ever concieved.
