After some delays I am finally here, at 4AM on a Tuesday, to deliver unto you the results of this bite-sized contents.

Congratulations to our top 3!
It's a tight race at the top! And even beyond there I think it's super cool how all of the submissions highlight a different style of creating a map. Anyone looking for inspiration on map design can take any of the submissions and be inspired. It's really cool! Everyone is a winner in my heart.

Putting a wrap on Mapcon, I want to thank everyone for participating. It was a bit hard to gauge interest in a contest so far removed from the usual level design contests. Make sure to leave your thoughts in the feedback thread if you want to see Mapcon return (or if you have any other thoughts about it).
We're hoping to announce the next official contest later this month, so keep an eye out for that! It will be about levels again. Something less experimental than all the things I've thrown at you this year. Stay tuned!

Yay! I'm honored to have recieved third place! I know it's not first but I wasn't expecting to get it anyway and plus, the person who did win definitely deserves it. I knew my map had some kinks in it like the graphics in some places and especially that camera (again, if someone is willing to lend me a hand in fixing it with tips and what not, I'd really appreciate it!) I would like to turn this into an episode too! Though as only one guy and especially as one guy who just started college, that may take a long, long time so don't expect much from me anytime soon. Again, thanks for allowing me to partake in a contest like this I hope to try and participate in more in the future!
