Also yes I agree, but soon isn't an exact date, which isn't satisfactory at times unless you literally haven't started working on it or barely started
At least give an estimate at least if you have started working on it somewhat

I don't really know how you can say anything other than "soon" when you don't know how much time you're going to have to make it, and what's going to happen in your life. So I do indeed thing it's better to say "it'll be done soon".

You can do it with a schedule
And if something unexpectedly happens, pull a Sakurai and say it'll be delayed, and thanking them for their patience
